WHO MAY ENTER
Employees of Neleman Initiative, LLC dba WIN-Initiative and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win. The contest is open to both amateur and professional photographers. If you are 18 and under and you must have parental/legal guardian consent to enter this competition.


ENTERING THE CONTEST
Photographers may submit images for consideration. An entry must consist of ten images.


SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS


ONLINE SUBMISSIONS
To enter your submissions electronically, please visit http://www.win-competition.com and register. Once the registration process has been completed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Simply log in to www.win-initiative.com photo contest site, and follow the online instructions to upload images from your computer. Lo-Res submissions must be 1-2 MB with 300 dpi compressed JPEG maximum quality files, flattened, no layers, paths or channels. Images must be 24 bit RGB Color, 8 bits per channel. Adobe 1998 color settings. Submitted JPEG files will not be returned. All winning images must be delivered in hi-res. Please do not submit your images if they do not reach the following specifications: Hi-Res must be 47.5-52 MB, approximately 11"x17" 300 dpi compressed JPEG maximum quality files, flattened, no layers, paths or channels. Hi-Res images must be 24 bit RGB Color, 8 bits per channel. Adobe 1998 workspace color settings.


MAIL IN SUBMISSIONS
Are accepted but not preferred. You may submit a CD containing images, please do not send negatives, transparencies, or hard drives. Please make sure all disks are Mac compatible, include your name, address and email. Also make sure your files meet our specifications (see above: online submissions). Please do not submit more than ten images. If you submit more than ten images the first ten will be considered and the following will be omitted. Disks will not be returned. Please send all material to WIN-Initiative, 77 Mercer Street, New York, NY 10012. DO NOT DROP OFF SUBMISSIONS IN PERSON.


SPECIFICATIONS
To qualify, photographs must be taken, published or produced by the artist and the artist must therefore hold the copyright to those images.

Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, photographic quality and effectiveness.


CONSENT AGREEMENT
Submitted materials will not be returned. WIN-Initiative is not responsible for the loss of any entry. Submission of an entry to the contest automatically constitutes the contestant's acceptance of all conditions set forth in the above rules. It also acknowledges the right of WIN-Initiative to use any winning entry for publication on www.win-initiative.com, WINk Magazine, WINk Blog and in exhibitions and promotions related to the 10 BEST 10 photo contest or any contest hosted by WIN-Initiative for up to 12 months following the contest. Entries not complying with the rules set forth above will be disqualified. WIN-Initiative is solely responsible for the administration of the contest, and sponsors are in no way affiliated with the contest or liable for any matters arising due to the contest. This Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and is void where prohibited. Winners agree that Sponsors and Prize Contributors, including their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors and employees, shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this promotion or from the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. WIN-Initiative further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest if it is not capable of completion as planned due to, for example, infection by a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort. In the event of early termination of the Contest, winners will be selected from all eligible entries received at the time of termination in accordance with the judging procedures described above. In no event will WIN-Initiative be responsible for any damages or losses arising out of access to and use of the web sites or the downloading from and or printing material downloaded from said site. WIN-Initiative is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of a person submitting an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered.
